Clyde aka “Shizzle”

Clyde aka “Shizzle” hails from Bequia St.Vincent. He is a recording artist and a one man band performer, and have opened for the likes of Morgan Heritage and Freddie McGregor. Shizzle combines the heavy hitting dancehall rhythms of Sean Paul, the roots rock reggae of Bob Marley and the sexy island vibe of Kevin Lyttle to create a tropical dance party. Kunaka Youth Marumba Band

Kunaka, 9 talented young artists ages 12 to 15, have been performing joyful marimba music at community events and celebrations from Britannia to Bowen Island, the WISE Hall to Whistler, and the Chan to the "Cultch". Their dynamic style and confident stage presence appeal to audiences of all ages and musical persuasions. Despite their youth, Kunaka play as though they "own" the music, a signature sound inspired by the Shona traditions of Zimbabwe and fused with contemporary rhythms.

Bram Bratá Steel Band

Tri-Cities Steel Band Association’s varsity band, Bram Bratá is a 27 member steel band. The name Bram Bratá is derived from two Trinidadian slang words meaning “an unexpected party”. Bram Bratá completed performance tours in Oahu, Hawaii, performed at the Caribbean Music Festival, toured in nearby venues around Victoria, B.C. and completed a tour performing in Portland, Seattle and the San Juan Islands. Joe Amouzou & the Safari League

Joe Amouzou was born in Togo, West Africa, into a very musical family. His father, Louis, was a renowned folk singer, whose songs remain part of the cultural fabric of the country. His mother was an accomplished soprano in a well-known local choir. Joe’s career in music began in his teens as a radio, television and concert singer and musician. (778) 322-7203

Sanell Dempster

Sanell’s rise to the soca platform started out from a demo being done by the keyboardist of the “Dollar Wine” band Taxi for a popular talent show back in 1991 for which she was A contestant. She was asked to sing to make sure that the key and the music was done to her liking by then musical director Robin Imamshah. They were all blown away by the soft , smoothe and sophisticated voice that Sanell had Posessed. Immediately she was asked to be a part of the band. She accepted and the rest as we say is musical history.

Brazilian Dancers

This group showcases traditional Brazilian music and dances such as Samba, Pagode and Axe which is a relatively new music and dance style mixing Samba, Pop and Caribbean styles. Daddy Roy

Roy Battiese, a.k.a. Daddy Roy - The Messenger, grew up with a passion for the soulful, rhythmic beat of reggae in Jamaica. He began writing music in 1997 but has been involved in music for over 30 years and has performed throughout Jamaica, Canada and the United States.
